Emerson Dorsch Projects and BAD space host a freeform divinatory activation of Philip Lique’s exhibition “Parlor Tricks for Summoning the Devil,” this Sunday, August 8th, 1 to 5 pm at MAD Studios in Dania Beach. For visitors traveling from points south, there will be a bus from EDG in Miami. (See below) Lique will debut 3 new, viewer-activated works. Refreshments and treats will be served in the Parlor Room. The best guests will receive an editioned, artist-made Tarot Card.

CATCH A RIDE ON THE PARTY BUS:
The party bus will promptly leave Emerson Dorsch Gallery, located at 5900 NW 2nd ave, Miami Fl 33127, at 1:00 PM on August 8th. This bus will drive guests to the event and return guests to the gallery. Guests should expect to be back in Miami by 5:15 pm.
This Party Bus serves as a “pre-game” to the event- providing drinks, snacks, and other distractions.
Only 33 seats are available on the bus.
The registration fee for each guest is $16.66. This includes snacks and classy adult beverages.
Have a drink or two, or three….or four, on our party bus. Expect a fun time!

About the artist
Philip Lique is a multidisciplinary artist working across print, sculpture, design, and installation practices. Hailing from New England, He holds a BFA in graphic design from Paier College of Art and an MFA in painting from Western Connecticut State University. Lique is an artist in residence at the Bakehouse Art Complex, Miami, FL.
